I started this blog in 2010 when I was studying Master's in Remote Sensing and GIS at NITK, Surathkal. In the initial days I tried writing on FOSS and GIS applications. Later in early 2011 I decided to concentrate only on geospatial technology. This led to change in blog name and purchase of a domain. I have written about happenings in geospatial domain and since 2013 I'm trying to write small tutorials on different FOSS GIS applications. I occasionally write for Telecomtalk, the site which tracks developments in Indian Telecom Industry.
My desire to 'Stay Updated' brought me to twitter! I don't miss geospatial events which are webcast and you can often find me live tweeting such events. Apart from twitter, I am fairly active on online forums like GIS SE.
